Hospitality Flooring

A hospitality industry favourite, New Life Floors have made a real splash in the last three years, creating extremely appealing and attractive timber flooring solutions for dozens of hot Melbourne restaurants from the city to the suburbs.

Happy to work around the hectic schedules of the professional food industry, New Life Floors can install any time day or night, weekday or weekend to suit any requirements. We have the range of timbers, the expertise to lay and the artistic vision to polish and stain to suit any environment, so why not give us a call today - and let's make your restaurant shine.

Boutique Nightclub

One of the top rated nightclubs in the world, Boutique in South Yarra needed the perfect floor to complement the rest of their perfect aesthetic - but they needed it installed, stained and polished in just five days!  New Life Floors prepared the floor prior to installation, then in just four days installed the immaculate Western Australian blue gum hardwood timber floor you see in the images above.  The floor was then direct stained to traditional standards with a two part waterbase satin finish for sheen.  By the following Thursday it was ready for dancing!

Vue De Monde

Arguably the best restaurant in the country, Vue De Monde drips class from ceiling to floor - a successful vision of perfection not in part due to their New Life Floors timber floor! A look that was created by native Australian Iron Bark with a smooth, classically implemented direct stain and completed over the Christmas period and ready for business to begin starting January first.

FOG

A real up and comer in Melbourne's vibrant food scene, FOG restaurant in South Yarra needed a floor that could handle the rigours of a popular night spot and still look stunning to complement the intricate work done on the rest of the eatery. New Life Floors used a dark Tasmanian Oak to create this effect over the Christmas period so that come New Years Eve, FOG was ready for business!

Waterfront

At Waterfront, Docklands, we have created a two part masterpiece: Downstairs we have a solid, hard-wood European Oak that floors the entire restaurant, adding exquisitely to the natural feel of the restaurant, whilst upstairs we have a polished parketry of Victorian messmate, the ideal depth, colour and style to suit this high class eatery. All of the wood used at Waterfront is recycled and serves to ground the restaurant in elegance and style.

Silk Road

One of our largest jobs for the hospitality industry, our work at Silk Road was months in planning and implementation, but the result, we have been told, is the icing-on-the-cake of this swank restaurant and bar. Created in its entirety with recycled Victorian ash, this hardwood floor has been direct stained using traditional methods to ensure a dark, chocolatey undertone comes through from the unique grooves of each plank. Additionally, accessibility was taken into consideration, with aluminium "grip strips" inserted in the hard wood steps and "pebbles" at the base of each stairway.
